Hi, I'm Dr. Betsy.
Why do I do this?

When I was in general practice, countless times I had clients ask if we could do a home euthanasia. This was not offered at the clinic and I tried my hardest to make each euthanasia as peaceful as possible.

When my own personal dog, Frankie, who had been
battling lymphoma for a year, started to decline I wanted to give him the best last day. Even though he was a vet’s dog and went to work with me often, he didn’t like the office like most pets. I was able to have him euthanized at home with his head in my lap after a day filled with his favorite things.

During this process, this sparked a desire in me to give as many owners the best goodbye to their beloved furry family members. Every euthanasia may not be able to be at home, but my hope is that by offering this service, owners can grieve their companions as
best as they can.

Grief in its own form is love.

As a Christ follower, I believe in the power of prayer especially in times of grief. If you would like prayer at any point during our time together please do not hesitate to ask!
